The great thing about the Counselling Alliance is that there are no long waiting lists! (exception with the free service)
We even strive, where possible, to see clients within 7 days of the initial contact.
We've done our best to have opening hours that will accommodate you all.
From 8am until 8pm Monday to Friday we're here to help you!
Cost and Cancellations
We have tailored our costs to suit every pocket, whilst ensuring that everyone receives the same level of quality and service.
Everyone's first appointment is an initial assessment. This is for us to get to know a little bit about you and you us, and to support you in deciding if counselling is suitable for you. This also helps us to to do our very best in finding the right counsellor for you. This assessment is £20. free service exceptions see above.
We offer a free service with our Trainee Counsellor. The assessment is free for this service, this is for people receiving benefits orlow income and proof of this will be expected.
Free service offers 8 sessions completely free after which a further 8 sessions are offered at £10 per session.
£25 sessions are with counsellors who are qualified to diploma level and have completed at least 100 hours counselling practice.
£35 sessions are with counsellors who have a degree in counselling, or are 2 years post-qualification and have at least 500 hours counselling practice.
£45 sessions are with counsellors who have a degree and have in excess of 1000 hours counselling practice.
£45 sessions for couples work this is with counsellors trained in this area.
Where possible, to cancel or reschedule an appointment you need to contact us at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment within working hours.
